Sue retired from the BBC some years ago after a position as a senior manager in BBC Information and Archives. Since then, she has worked as an archive researcher for many productions for the BBC and others, as well as a Media Archive Consultant. She was Chair of FOCAL International, (Federation of Commercial audio-Visual Libraries) a leading body in the audio visual archive business until retirement.
Currently Sue is secretary of the British Entertainment History project (an oral history archive for broadcasting, film, theatre radio), a member of the Royal Television Society’s Archive group and chair of the board of MACE(Media Archive of central England).
