Age UK’s Silver Sunday is a national day where communities come together by hosting fun and free activities for older people. It’s a day for them to have something special to look forward to and enjoy themselves. This year, Silver Sunday is on Sunday 5 October. Events take place all over the UK and last year 1,300 events took place. Local businesses, community groups and volunteers all get involved to introduce new and interesting activities for older people.
