Its position opposite Euston Station makes the Friends Meeting House ideal for our AGM. There is a vegetarian/vegan café on the premises if you would like some lunch before the meeting which starts at 1.30.
I can now reveal that our Keynote Speaker will be Saul Nassé who is Chief Executive and Keeper of the National Archives. Saul is responsible for overseeing the integrity of the public records system of England, Wales and the United Kingdom and The National Archives’ work as the official publisher of authoritative versions of legislation and official Gazettes. Saul has BBC experience as in 2010 he was appointed Controller of BBC Learning. Amongst others he commissioned BBC Bitesize, Stargazing Live and BBC Food.
We are also pleased that Ben Harvey, Director of Governance and Operations for the BBC Pension Scheme will be speaking giving our members an up-to-date report regarding the Scheme. There will be a short Q and A session and members watching the live stream can also send in questions via our website. On the home page click on the tab Contact and you will find a form which says ‘Get In Touch’. Please send your message/question and we will do our best to ensure it is answered.
