We know our members are loyal and supportive and the recent bequests from former BBCPA members confirms this.
Olga Roiu
Olga Roiu was a Programme Assistant in the Romanian section at Bush House. The Pensions advisers at Cardiff discovered that Olga started work at the BBC External Services on 1st November 1971 and worked there for 15 years. She left in 1986.
BBC PA received EURO 2000 from her executor in Germany which gave us £1714 for which we are very grateful.
Doreen Perrin
Doreen used to work in the Record Library, and her two husbands (Reginald Perrin and Jack Dabbs) were also BBC employees.
BBCPA is to receive a £1000 bequest from Doreen Perrin (who died in October 2024) . The money will be coming into the BBCPA bank account directly from her executor Stephen Perrin, who is her stepson.
We are very grateful for being remembered by such loyal and supportive members and hope they know their generosity will help the Association and our current members. If you worked with either Olga or Doreen then please let us know your memories of them.
