Conan Morgan recently sent an email asking for our help in finding some memorabilia about his father.

‘My name is Conan Morgan, and I am the son of Seán Morgan, who worked for BBC Northern Ireland as a Broadcast Engineer in the Maintenance Department from the early 1980s until the mid-2000s.  Seán lived in Belfast and sadly passed away in August 2018.

I now have a young son of my own, and it has made me realise that I have very few photographs of my father from his years at the BBC. I would love to be able to share more of that part of his life and career with my family. I am hoping to find any photographs, staff newsletters, retirement notices, or former colleagues who may remember him. Any memories, stories, or information about his time at BBC Northern Ireland would mean a great deal to us. If there is a Northern Ireland representative, a retired engineers’ group, or an archive that might be able to help, I would be extremely grateful for any guidance or assistance.’
