As we get older our appetite can reduce for lots of reasons.  However, it is important to eat well and there are resources to help you.  The UK Malnutrition Awareness week is 17th-23rd November and was co-founded in 2018 by the Malnutrition Task Force (MTF) and BAPEN to raise awareness and understand the risks of preventable malnutrition across different sectors and settings, in local communities and with the general public and health and social care professionals.  More information is available @ https://www.malnutritiontaskforce.org.uk/ukmaw2025-save-date

The Malnutrition Task Force was set-up in 2011 by a partnership of Age UK, apetito, BAPEN, Nutricia and RVS.  Their website has many resources to help you regain some of your appetite and also manage how you eat with lots of tips.  The section on ‘What Can We Do’ is particularly helpful with practical tips to enhance your appetite.  Here is the link @ https://www.malnutritiontaskforce.org.uk/eating-well-tips-everybody/what-can-we-do
