The BBCPA has decided to open up its membership.
From 1 November 2020 members of the BBC Pension Scheme who have a deferred pension in the Scheme will NOW be eligible to join the BBC Pensioners Association. This will also include anyone who has a pension arrangement into which the BBC has contributed but the pension has not yet come into payment.
Membership of the Association enables deferred pensioners to enjoy the same benefits of BBCPA membership as BBC pensioners, including access to the technical support team on pension matters relating to the BBC Pension Scheme.
They will also benefit from a range of special offers and discounts, some of which will be similar to those enjoyed by existing BBC staff.
If any BBCPA members have friends/colleagues whom they know have deferred their BBC Pension can you please pass on the good news and and encourage them to join. They are very welcome
