We would like to make members aware of a scam email that is being sent from a fake address called “Royal Mail Group”.

The scammers are trying to trick people into downloading Malware which, if downloaded can steal information from your internet browser and change your firewall settings.

For more information about this scam, please go to: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/news/fake-royal-mail-lostmissing-package-emails

There is also a page on the Royal Mail’s website which alerts the public on how to spot a fake Royal Mail email and typical online scams to look out for.  It is very informative and if you have any suspicion about a text or email you have received purporting to be from the Royal Mail then I advice you to consult this page @
