- Rathayatra is a vibrant Hindu festival featuring a procession of colourful wooden chariots carrying sacred deities. The procession starts at Hyde Park Corner and ends at Trafalgar Square, where you can enjoy free vegetarian food. More details @ https://rathayatra.co.uk/

- If you are a foodie then the Surrey Food Festival might be for you. Featuring live food demonstrations, tastings and talks; live music, and a kids’ zone for the weekend of 26th-27th July at the Old Deer Park, Richmond. SUMMER EXHIBITION 2025 ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS
The annual exhibition is back until 17th August at the RA located in the heart of Piccadilly. It has been held every year since 1769 and it is where work from famous artists sits alongside art submitted by the general public. It is probably the most famous exhibition in the UK. Thousands of art lovers flock to buy art to add to their collection or buy their first piece to start a collection as the prices start from less than £250.
The theme of this year’s exhibition as described by Farshid Moussavi RA, the coordinator is as follows
“The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2025 will be dedicated to art’s capacity to forge dialogues and to afford us sensitivity towards societal concerns, such as ecology, survival and living together.”
