On 1st September 2020 Tim Davie became the 17th Director General of the BBC. Let’s take a brief look at his journey to the top job at the BBC.

October in the UK is Black History Month. It was first celebrated here in 1987, although in America it began in 1970 and is celebrated in February. It has now become an established part of the UK’s public events calendar.
