On Monday 23RD June 1960, BBC Television Centre was declared officially open.  To celebrate, the Royal Television Society transmitted a live premiere of a film about TVC including archive footage and interviews with staff who had worked there.  You can access and watch this very enjoyable and nostalgic film via the RTS website  @ https://rts.org.uk/event/tvc-60   Also on this page there is a link to further resources for members to browse.
